| Description | : We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team within a fast-growing UAE real estate development and construction group. The ideal candidate will provide legal oversight on all real estate and construction transactions, including drafting and reviewing sales and purchase agreements, client and vendor contracts, and regulatory documentation. A strong understanding of UAE property law, Dubai Land Department systems, Oqood registration, and Escrow regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), vendor and contractor agreements, and consultancy contracts.
Advise on Form F and related agreements in compliance with Dubai Land Department (DLD) requirements.
Manage legal documentation and compliance related to the Oqood system, title deeds, NOCs, and registration procedures.
Provide legal opinions on UAE property and construction law, with a focus on current property case law developments.
Oversee and maintain documentation and compliance related to Escrow accounts by RERA regulations.
Ensure legal due diligence for project launches, off-plan sales, and handovers.
Support internal departments such as Sales, Projects, and Finance with legal input and training where necessary.
Represent the company in legal matters, disputes, and negotiations when required, in coordination with external counsel.
Maintain relationships with DLD, RERA, Dubai Courts, and other relevant government bodies.
Qualifications and Experience
LLB degree from a recognized university; UAE legal qualification or license is preferred.
5–8 years of experience in real estate and construction law, preferably with at least 3 years in the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of UAE property law, RERA regulations, and DLD systems including Oqood.
Strong experience drafting SPAs, Form F, and vendor contracts in both English and Arabic (preferred).
Familiarity with managing Escrow documentation and legal frameworks for off-plan developments.
