Description : We are a leading Holiday Homes company in Downtown Dubai UAE looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, managing accounting processes, and providing valuable insights to support informed business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a thorough knowledge of accounting practices in the hospitality industry, including inventory management, cost accounting, and financial reporting. In addition, the candidate should have experience in TAX laws and VAT compliance, and the ability to handle accounts up to finalization. PLEASE APPLY ONLY IF U MEETS THE REQUIREMENT Audit Company Experience 3-5 years of UAE experience as an Auditor/Accountant is required Corporate TAX experience. UAE Experience in 5* Hotel (or Holiday Homes) is preferred Cancelled Visa or Visit Visa is required, Immediate Joining - No notice period Age Maximum 30 Years Old Responsibilities: Experience in PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (Opera, RMS) back office is preferred Review the daily rates with the reservation team consistently Review and perform audits on OTA (Online Travel Agencies) to capture all unpaid reservations not credited to the Company’s bank account. Supervising Pre-Authorized Deposit and refund process. Review Amenities charging to the guests and the owners as needed. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payables and receivables. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve spending efficiency. Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecasting process. Ensure that audit and reconciliation of advance payments are properly applied. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Support month-end and year-end close process. Conduct on-site audits to verify revenue recognition and reporting procedures. Identify and investigate potential revenue risks and fraud. Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management. Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and industry best practices Assist with tax audits and tax returns and ensure compliance with FTA principles in UAE. Review contracts, invoices, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness. Ensures all rebates and miscellaneous charges should follow Finance policy and are supported by documentation detailing the charges, summarized and submitted daily for review. Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls to improve financial practices. Review and recommend improvements to internal controls and revenue recognition processes. Maintain documentation of all audit procedures and findings. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Analyze financial data and prepare reports to identify trends, cost inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior accounting role within the hospitality industry preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with hospitality accounting software is a plus. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and hospitality accounting practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with budgeting and forecasting in a hospitality setting is a plus. Flexibility to work long hours is desirable. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
