Paralegal / Legal Assistant
The purpose of this position is to review, amend and implement policies and procedures to ensure the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. In addition, to provide legal support to management and staff related to internal company requirements, new and existing projects and supporting with reviewing, amending, and drafting of new agreements and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Lead and coordinate compliance activities to ensure strict adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
2) Monitor and assess the company's risk exposure, identifying potential risks and providing strategic recommendations for risk mitigation.
3) Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
4) Prepare and review all project and deal related documents and contracts.
5) Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and review all project and deal related documents and contracts.
6) Support the senior management in negotiation, execution and closing of all project documents.
7) Provide clear and timely communication to agents regarding compliance requirements and updates.
8) Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
9) Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics.
10) Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues for deals and company related issues.
11) Offer training and support to ensure agents have a solid understanding of and adhere to compliance guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in law.
Minimum 6 years of commercial and business experience.
